Wire Money To or From Fidelity

Make transfers between Fidelity and your bank. Wire transfers are typically completed on the same business day for brokerage accounts or within one business day for mutual fund accounts, depending on the time of day Fidelity receives your request. The funds will be considered collected immediately and are available for security purchases or withdrawal once received.

Fidelity doesn’t charge any fees for receiving wire transfers, although many banks charge fees for sending them.

Note: Electronic Funds Transfers can be a more cost–effective choice than Bank Wire for transferring money between accounts.

The fee for single domestic wire transfers to your bank is up to $15. Your bank may also charge a fee for receiving the transfer. All wires will be in U.S. dollars (unless a Foreign Currency Wire Transfer is requested).

Transfers from mutual fund accounts will occur the next business day after your request.
