Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is an easy, convenient, and secure way to transfer money online between your bank and Fidelity.

To enroll online

To establish the electronic funds transfer service online you need to provide your bank's:

  1. Nine digit routing number (also known as the ABA number)
  2. Account number

This information is typically located on the bottom of your check. Some banks use different numbers for EFT so you may want to verify with your bank.

To apply by mail

To apply by mail, download the appropriate form, complete, sign, and mail it to the address indicated on the form

  1. Requests must be received by 4:00 PM EST to be eligible for same day completion. EFT deposits are generally not available for withdrawal or to purchase securities online for 4 - 6 business days. The amount of your deposit will accrue interest during this period.
  2. Some banks may charge a fee to receive the transfer.
