Automatic Investments

Schedule regular money movements from your bank account to your Fidelity accounts and annuities. Fidelity does not charge a fee to set up a schedule of automatic investments. Some mutual fund fees will apply.*

Use automatic investments to:

  • Regularly move money from a bank account to your Fidelity account.
  • Regularly move money from your account to a mutual fund. To see if a fund you own is eligible for automatic investments, look for Fund Facts in each fund's description in the Research > Mutual Funds tab.
  • Set up a schedule of investments into an IRA, 529 Plan, or other account to help achieve your savings goals.

How to Use

If you haven't already established Electronic Funds Transfer for your accounts, you will need to do that first.

Log in to create, view, or update your automatic investment schedule online.

By Mail - If you prefer to sign up for automatic investments by mail, download the appropriate form and complete, sign, and mail it to the address indicated.

Automatic investment plans do not ensure a profit nor do they protect against a loss in declining markets.

*Fidelity does not charge a fee for automatic investments in Fidelity funds or No Transaction Fee (NTF) FundsNetwork funds. After the initial investment, a $5 fee is charged per automatic investment into a FundsNetwork transaction fee fund. Other regular mutual fund fees may also apply.
