Where can I access standard performance for ETFs and mutual funds?

Standard performance information for each ETF and mutual fund is available on the Performance & Risk page of Fidelity.com.

Why does my watch list show .DJI, .IXIC, and .SPX?

Each watch list includes three default indexes.  The indexes are Dow Jones Industrial Average, NASDAQ, and the S&P 500®.  The Dow Jones Industrial Average is an unmanaged index of common stocks comprised of major industrial companies and assumes reinvestment of dividends.  The NASDAQ Composite Index is an unmanaged market capitalization-weighted index that is designed to represent the performance of the National Market System which includes over 3,000 stocks traded primarily over-the-counter and not on an exchange.  The S&P 500 Index is an unmanaged market capitalization-weighted index of 500 common stocks chosen for market size, liquidity, and industry group representation to represent U.S. equity performance.  To remove these indexes, highlight their symbols with the directional button, click "OK" to get a detailed quote view, and then click the "C" button to remove.

How do I search for a symbol/company?

Click the "B" button on your remote to bring up the search window.  Enter a symbol or company name by using the directional buttons on the remote to highlight each character.  Click "OK" to enter in symbol.  Click “B” button to perform search.  Highlight the desired search results by using the directional buttons on the remote and click "OK" to get a detailed quote for that symbol.

How do I add a symbol to my watch list?

Click the "B" button on your remote to bring up the search window.  Enter a symbol or company name by using the directional buttons on the remote to highlight each character.   Click "OK" to enter in a symbol.  Click "B" button to perform a search.  Highlight the desired search result by using the directional buttons on the remote. Click "OK" on the highlighted row to open the detailed quote view for the symbol.   Then click the "C" button to add the symbol to your watch list.

How do I remove a symbol from my watch list?

Highlight the symbol you wish to remove by using the directional buttons on the remote.  Click "OK" to open the detailed quote view for the symbol, and then click the "C" button to remove the symbol from your watch list.

Why is my watch list shaded in different colors?

Each watch list is color sorted based on the %-change of each symbol for each day.  Colors are coded from lowest to highest: red - black - green.

How many symbols can I add to my watch list?

Your watch list can contain a maximum of 25 symbols.

How do I add more symbols if I already added 25 to my watch list.

Once a maximum of 25 symbols are added to a watch list, symbols will need to be removed in order to add new ones.

How do I view a chart for a symbol?

From the detailed quote view for a symbol, use the Left and Right buttons on the remote to cycle through the Quote, Chart, and News views.

How do I view news related to a symbol?

From the detailed quote view for a symbol, use the Left and Right buttons on the remote to cycle through the Quote, Chart, and News views.  Use the Up and Down buttons to highlight each news article.  Click "OK" to view each news article in full screen.

When are quotes for individual securities priced?

Stock quotes: The date and time of the last order for shares of the security. The quote is delayed at least 15 minutes. Note that delayed quotes will only display composite quotes. A composite quote lists the last trade, best bid and ask, and volume for all exchanges where a security trades.

Mutual funds, money market, and Select Portfolios® quotes: The date the fund was last priced - the date the last Net Asset Value (NAV) close price was calculated.
For Fidelity variable annuity investment option quotes: The date the investment option was last priced.

Index quotes: The date and time when the index was last valued.

Date and time are in Eastern U.S. time.
