    Asset Allocation With a Single Fund Solution

    Fidelity makes available annuity funds that manage asset allocation for you:

    • Choose a fund based on your target asset mixFidelity VIP FundsManager® (PDF) portfolios are managed to target asset mixes designed to balance risk and growth potential.
    • Choose a fund based on your retirement year—Fidelity VIP Investor Freedom® Fund Portfolios are funds of funds managed by Fidelity. Except for Fidelity VIP Investor Freedom Income, each portfolio's asset allocation strategy becomes increasingly conservative as it approaches the target date and beyond, until it ultimately merges with Fidelity VIP Investor Freedom Income. Principal invested is not guaranteed at any time, including at or after the portfolio's target date. Fidelity VIP Investor Freedom Funds and Fidelity VIP Freedom Funds are available in Fidelity Personal Retirement Annuity and Fidelity Retirement Reserves.
