We've enhanced the Portfolio Positions to simplify navigation and give you more control over how information is displayed. Hover your cursor over the green numbers to learn about updated features.

Closed Positions. Use this link to view your closed positions per account. Note: closed positions include any shares that have been disposed of even if you still own some of that security.
Select Accounts. This feature allows you to limit the display to a single account or subset of your accounts. By default, all accounts are displayed.
Include Positions. Use this dropdown to select the security types for which you want positions information to display. By default, all security types are displayed.
Group by Account or Position. Now you can organize your positions either by account or position (security). "Group by Account" shows all positions within each selected account. "Group by Position" shows a list of positions and the account(s) in which each position is held.
Security Description. When you choose to group your holdings by Account, you have the option of minimizing the amount of space used by the Security Description column. If you opt for the Short description, you can still see the full description if you hover your cursor over the description itself.
View As. Now you can view your position information as a table or a chart. Use these three icons to switch between Table View, Chart View, Dollar Values and Chart View, Percentages.
Save View. Click Save View to retain your current settings for Select Account(s), Include Position Type, Group By, Security Description, View As, font size and column sorting. In the Closed Positions view, this feature will also save your setting for Date Sold.
Select Action. This dropdown allows you to place a trade or view additional information for an account (such as Balances, Statements and Orders).
View Lots. This feature allows you to view the details of each acquisition of a security by clicking the "+" icon next to a position's ticker symbol. All lots are displayed in place below the position, and shaded in gray.
Change Since Purchase. We've moved the Change Since Purchase column next to the Change Since Close column to make it easier to review these values.
Mutual Funds. For securities using an average cost method; new purchases of existing positions after January 1, 2012, will be recorded separately from shares purchased before January 1, 2012. This is necessary to comply with new legislation that requires brokers to report adjusted basis for "specified securities" on the annual IRS Form 1099-B. All lots of a particular position are shaded in gray.
Pending Activity. Now you can view balances as adjusted for activity that occurs within the day. Pending Activity includes executed trades, money moving in and out of your account, and other activity.
