Introduction

Fidelity now provides a better way to pay your qualified medical expenses. Using Fidelity BillPay^⊃ for Health Savings Accounts, you can make payments to healthcare providers, companies, and individuals, as well as set up an automatic schedule for recurring payments and easily track your bills - all from one convenient location.

Payment Center

Once you've enrolled in Fidelity BillPay for Health Savings Accounts, you can manage and pay your qualified medical expenses from the Fidelity Payment Center. With just a few clicks, you can add a biller, pay bills, set up and receive bills electronically, view reminders, see pending payments, and review your recent payments. Remember, it is your responsibility to ensure your HSA is used exclusively to pay for or reimburse yourself for qualified medical expenses*.

Adding a Biller

Setting up your billers is effortless using the Quick Add feature. First, indicate whether your biller is a health care provider, company or a person. Then enter the biller’s phone number and the automatic search function may quickly locate your biller. Once you’ve added the biller, you can pay the bill directly from the Payment Center – it's that easy!

Paying a Bill

To pay a bill, simply enter the amount next to the biller's name. The earliest available pay date will appear automatically, or you can use the calendar to select an alternate pay date. You can repeat these steps to easily pay multiple bills at once. Click "Make a Payment" when ready and follow the prompts to complete your payments.

In the memo place in the Patient Id or Account Number to ensure that the payment is properly applied to your bill. Once your payment is scheduled, it will appear in the Pending Payments area of the Payment Center.

For your convenience, electronic payments are clearly marked with the Auto Pay icon and will be debited from your account on the payment date you've selected. If a payment is processed via check, the funds will be debited from your account on the date the check is presented for payment.

Automatic Payment

Save time and gain some peace of mind with automatic payments. Setting up an automatic payment is as easy as selecting the biller from the menu and entering the amount to pay, the date, frequency, and number of payments**.

You can also sort bill activity by biller name, pending payments, and more.
